Best time to visit
Because of lying entirely in the tropical monsoon climate, Ninh Binh still sees storms. Thence, if you do not want to spend your holiday seeing and enjoying the interiors of the place only due to rain, the best time to visit the place falls between Novembers to April of the following year when it is in the dry season.
Ninh Binh – a miniature of Vietnam
Trang An eco-tourism center, the most famous Ninh Binh’s attraction, has been expanded in recent years and soon become popular to every visitor for a system of caves, valleys and historical relics. With a chain of natural wonders like Tam Coc, Thai Vi Temple, Bich Dong Pagoda, Fairy cave or Sunny Valley; the Tam Coc – Bich Dong tourist center is praised as “The second best cave of the South – Nam Thien De Nhi Dong”.
Touted as “Halong Bay on land,” Ninh Binh is filled with steep karst mountains soaring amidst tranquil rice paddies, meandering rivers, and dotted with temples and ancient settlements. The best way to explore the area is on a scenic boat ride that passes through the mountainscape or by following the riverside path by bicycle. Ninh Binh is two hours away from Hanoi in Northern Vietnam.
